Service Call Proof sends text messages about service calls to people who sign up for them. Texts are transactional only: they are about calls you’re part of. We never send marketing texts, and we never share or sell mobile numbers.
Who gets texts
Staff at businesses that use Service Call Proof (store managers, maintenance managers, office managers), and the contractors and technicians who work their service calls. Each person signs up for their own mobile number. A number typed in by someone else, such as an administrator adding a team member, never receives texts until that person signs up themselves.
How to sign up
There are three places to sign up, all with the same unchecked box and the same words:
- When you create your company’s account.
- When you open your sign-in link the first time (contractors and technicians).
- Any time after signing in: open the menu at the top of the screen and choose Texts.
This is the box, exactly as it appears:
The box starts unchecked and is never required: Service Call Proof works fully with phone notifications and email alone. When you check it, we record the date and time, the mobile number and the exact words you agreed to.
